Terms of Use
Important: Miravelys is a personal reflection and calming companion. It is not therapy, medical care, crisis care, or a diagnosis. If you are in danger or need urgent help, contact local emergency services or a crisis resource.
1. Agreement
By downloading or using Miravelys, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. The service
Miravelys provides tools for calming, writing, sleep support, gentle pattern reflection, and related features. Free foundations (basic calm, basic writing, safety resources, export, delete, local-only mode) remain available without a subscription. Premium features may include deeper Weekly Mirror continuity, expanded soundscapes/sessions, and related paid continuity tools as described in the app.
3. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Miravelys on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and these Terms. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, or misuse the app except as allowed by law.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of what you write or record in Miravelys. You are responsible for that content. Do not use the app to store or transmit unlawful material. You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate features you enable (for example, processing text locally, or sending content to a provider you configure).
5. Subscriptions and purchases
- Miravelys may offer auto-renewable subscriptions (for example monthly or yearly) and a one-time lifetime purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID through the App Store at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions (or the equivalent on your device).
- Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription where applicable under Apple’s rules.
- Prices shown in the app come from the App Store for your storefront and may change.
- Restore Purchases is available in the app for previously purchased entitlements on the same Apple ID.
One-day free access offered inside the app (when available) is a local product gift and is separate from any Apple introductory offer or free trial configured in App Store Connect.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to abuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other users, or use Miravelys in ways that harm people. Optional third-party AI providers you connect are used at your own discretion and subject to those providers’ terms.
7. No medical or professional advice
Miravelys does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, or legal advice. Guidance is reflective and educational. Always seek qualified professionals for health decisions.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
Miravelys is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Miravelys and its publisher are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us for Miravelys Premium in the twelve months before the claim (or zero if you only used free features).
10. Termination
You may stop using Miravelys at any time and delete the app and your local data. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms. Sections that by nature should survive (including disclaimers and limitations) will survive termination.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes may also be noted in the app or on miravelys.com. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
