Privacy Policy
In short: Miravelys is local-first. Your journal entries, reflections, and personal memory stay on your device by default. We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising, and do not diagnose you. Export, delete, and local-only controls are always free.
1. Who we are
Miravelys (“we,” “us”) is the app published under the Miravelys / Anatolie Furtuna developer account. Contact: support@miravelys.com.
2. What Miravelys stores on your device
Depending on how you use the app, Miravelys may store locally:
- Reflections, journal text, Truth Lines, and session notes you write
- Preferences (language, calm/sleep settings, local-only mode, guidance options)
- Practice history and gentle pattern insights derived from what you share
- Optional voice transcriptions when you choose a voice feature (processed on-device when supported)
- Optional Apple Health mindfulness contributions you allow
- Subscription entitlement status provided by Apple’s StoreKit (not your payment card details)
- Optional API keys for a provider you configure yourself (stored in the device Keychain)
Local app data is protected with device Data Protection / encrypted storage where applicable. We do not require you to create a Miravelys account.
3. What leaves your device
- Nothing by default. Journal content, raw voice audio, and HealthKit samples are not uploaded for advertising or profiling.
- Optional cloud / AI help. If you explicitly enable provider enhancement and configure your own provider, content you choose to send may be transmitted to that provider under their terms. You can turn this off and use local-only mode.
- Apple services. Purchases, restores, TestFlight, crash reports (if you share them with Apple), and similar system features are handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy.
- Privacy-safe analytics (if enabled in builds that use them). Limited, non-content events (for example that a paywall was seen) may be stored locally; they are designed not to include journal text or identity.
4. Permissions you may grant
- Microphone / speech recognition — only when you use a feature that listens; used to help you capture or transcribe. On-device recognition is preferred when available.
- Apple Health (HealthKit) — optional mindfulness write/read for features you choose; not used to diagnose conditions.
- Notifications — optional reminders or quotes you enable in Settings.
You can revoke permissions in iOS Settings at any time.
5. Subscriptions and payments
Premium subscriptions and lifetime unlocks are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your full payment card number. Apple provides purchase/entitlement status to the app so Premium features can unlock. Manage or cancel auto-renewable subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
6. Your controls
- Edit or correct guidance and patterns inside the app
- Export your data from Privacy settings
- Delete personal data from Privacy settings (destructive actions ask for confirmation)
- Enable local-only mode to keep assistance on-device
- Turn off optional provider / cloud enhancement
These controls are never behind a paywall.
7. Children
Miravelys is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). Do not use the app if you are under that age.
8. International users
Because data is primarily stored on your device, processing generally happens where you use the app. If you enable an optional provider, that provider may process data in other regions according to its own policy.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as the product changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
